Aired on November 16, 2015, SBS News featured the current de-banking issue we are facing as banks continue to shut down the industry. It highlights the critical role the remittance industry plays in serving the needs of the migrant communities in facilitating funds they send to their relatives and loved-ones abroad, especially those living in remote areas.
This segment also shows the importance of our role in Australia’s National Security in our detailed reporting of the flows of funds to AUSTRAC, and the possible dangers of black market activities if and when the remittance industry is wiped out.

The ARCPA Certification is an industry accreditation program that establishes the benchmark of compliance best practice for the registered remittance providers industry in Australia.
The ARCPA seeks to assist Remitters and MSBs by providing resources that may assist members in meeting their AML/CTF compliance obligations.
